the bottle should say it? like the zantac bottle says 15mg/ml
if the bottle doesn’t say it, call the pharmacy…

yes give the pepcid w/ the prilosec- just space the meds 4hrs apart…

pepcid ac is 1/2 a tablet dissolved in water
not sure if this helps, as it’s the liquid form of pepcid, but:

the medicines do not stop the spit up-
a lot is trial & error- if you cut out all dairy, including ‘hidden’ dairy (like your granola bars), for 2 weeks & see an improvement w/ the spitting up, well then you’ll know if it’s milk proteins via your breastmilk…hope this helps

I think what we did at the end was to give the dose every other day for a week (maybe it was 2 weeks) and after that stop…something along those lines…

I’m not a doctor, but if I had zantac around and if I had this site around, I’d increase the dose…that’s just me. Don’t just take MY word on what his zantac dose could be, read here:

paula, yes the beads inside the capsules can be given w/ something like apple sauce or apple juice- I don’t think they dissolve, though, nor do I think they’d be effective if they dissolved- I *thin k* that there’s an explanation in one of the stickd posts in the Medicine Forum

if you use the powder then you can strain out the beads- it’s a pain in the neck but a LOT of folks on this board have done so…the powder is ‘just’ the flavoring…it’s hard to know if your baby reacted to the lactose in the solutabs or the aspertame or the flavoring…
