another thought: what is she eating? are you finding that she cannot tolerate certain foods? if you are giving cereal, try beechnut brand or any other brand w/ no milk or soy…maybe try keeping a food diary/journal to see if there’s something she’s eating that is upsetting her.

if not, I would discuss higher dosing w/ the ped GI. I would print out the marci-kids research for the dr. I would discuss the Sandifer’s, using this as evidence that the prevacid dose is not high enough.

I would contact the SLP who did the sallow studies and ask about what thickener to use and how, etc….

has your baby been seen by a SLP? to do a swallow study? so you know exactly what consistancy to make the thickener? I’m not sure this is ‘absolutely’ necessary, but it might help & give you peace of mind to know ‘what’s going on when baby swallows/eats….’

I would say the neck-twisting sounds like a Sandifer’s symptom? also from ‘groupie intro’ there’s a ‘section’ about Sandifers. I would not split such a low dose. I would fight for an increase. I would find out ‘proper’ dose from here:

I would give max dose of zantac, too, if you have zantac.

the other formulas taste worse I believe- to go back to nutrimigen I would slooowly introduce it to the enfamil bottles- like once ounce nutrimigen and the rest of the bottle enfamil. if this is too much, start w/ half an ounce- just slooowly do it.
