oh & if there’s choking and you’re worried that maybe liquid is getting into the lungs/aspiration, then demand a swallow study!

not sure which one to ask for? bravo & impedance (sp?) are more recent/up to date

if you’re going to fight, I’d say to fight for the capsules so you can use them with the caracream (that you’ve already looked into w/ Dr. Philips).

ok thoughts on if it’s reflux:

the meds will NOT HURT.
once you think you’ve gotten a grip on the MSPI issues, you most certainly can try backing off the meds & see what happens!
worse case scenario, you have a miserable baby & you add the meds back in.

ok here’s the deal:
caracream is SAFE FOR MSPI

as for the last dose:
‘dinner’ time is FINE so that’s EVENING. Like 6pm.
I think as far as NIGHT goes, not to give a dose in the middle of the night bcse it won’t be as effective.
We used caracream w/ GREAT SUCCESS.
we gave it am & pm
we used zantac as needed in between

get a pill splitter & split the pill
put 1/2 you’re not using away in some foil in the fridge
then to give the 1/2 tab, poeple have sucess using a dropper, like the one that comes w/ mylicon. use as much or as little water as you need to.

caracream IS a ‘compound’
it is a liquid
it can be given at anytime (as can a pharmacy made compound that is done correctly, which is hard to find)

it doesn’t have enteric beads that need something acidic-
