you can find the proper dosing for benedryl (just in case you ever need it & also to see how much is for her weight- the tiny bit on the gums most likely is no where near the dose for say a cold or allergic reaction)

you’re correct that MSPI is not rare (why would there be so many formulas?) and that lactose intolerance is (it’s not unheard of though! and the general public must still be confused so that’s why there’s lactose free formula? of course it’s for the genuinely lactose intolerant)

another thought:
if & when you try meds I WOULD ask for zantac because then you’d have a prescription! THEN after 4 days you could ask for a PPI and still have the zantac to give while you’re waiting the 2 weeks to see the full effects of the PPI.

your bottle should say 15mgs/ml
so take the 54mgs and divide by 15
tha’ts 3.6mls a day total

prilosec kicked in on day 12 for us.
we learned the HARD WAY that zantac should be used, too.
baby screamed/shrieked so much that he lost his voice. it was PITIFUL!!
so please give that zantac, just space it from the prilosec.
