My ped GI said we could space the zantac & the prevacid 2hrs apart & it worked for us. the majority of drs say 4 or even 5 hrs. You gotta do what works for your baby. So much of this is trial & error, which can be frustrating!! so I would say to try various amounts of time b/t the two meds & see what works…

actually…I vote for caracream/bufferbabies- this is in prevacid 101, too
you use this with either prilosec or prevacid- I vote prevacid…

I forget why you’re thickening? If it’s because if aspiration issues, then I would keep doing it…ask your doctor…if you’re doing it bcse you feel baby needs something ‘heavy’ to keep reflux down, then by all means: nurse your baby…

it might not be 2 weeks to see the results of the zantac, it could be just a few days, HOWEVER you need to check the zantac dose…how much does baby weigh?

we have an old sony alarm clock cd player (cd player doesn’t even work anymore) that has sounds, too- ocean, etc…so maybe just go to a ‘mart’ (walmart, k-mart, target’ and look in the various sections- even the clock radio sections…

you might want to consider giving probiotics to help restore the flora & fauna that was destroyed by the antibiotics- antibiotics kell off all the bacteria- the good & the bad- so probiotics help give back the ‘good’
