After 11-1/2 long months we finally did it!
He moved up on the growth charts instead of backwards. He actually made 3 jumps on the charts for his weight at this visit. The allergist could not believe it so he went and weighed him again. It is good to know the Neocate is giving him everything he needs right now.It was a little disappointing to hear we may not see any kind of improvement in terms of what he can eat for a few more years. However, it is encourging to know they do feel he will out grow all of the allergies & intolerances. So far now…they want us to continue introducing simple items like squash, apples, etc and keep going around and around trying the same foods. Besides going back every 2-3 months they now want us to call in once a month. Maybe there is help from the dr’s after all!?

I hope I didn’t jinx myself by posting the orginial message but he has refused to eat anything since Sat. morning. He won’t even let you put a plate down in front of him? I’m not sure if he is starting to associate things because of the last few weeks with all the blood and mucus in his BM? He isn’t even taking a 8 oz. bottle at his meals either!
He isn’t sick so I have no idea what it is? It seems like it is always something!!!!
