Does anyone know where I can get a box of disposable oral syringes? Nicholas takes 2 different oral meds and Mylanta. I am just really tired of washing these things. I would like either 3 ml or 5 ml. I have looked at the pharmacy where we get meds as well as Target, Walmart, Walgreens. I have found a site to order them offline, but would rather have them NOW (impatience is my weakness). Any ideas?
I always got them for free when I would pick up his prescriptions. Just tell the pharacist that you have a baby that takes oral meds, and they usually will give you a few. I’ve even done it at pharmacies where I don’t get my meds filled. Target’s are the best. We’ve used the same one for a LONG time while others tend to break or the lines get rubbed off.
When Landon Came home from the NICU he was on 4 meds, so we went through a ton of those 1ml. sized. I got them from the Hospital Pharmacy and A home health company, where they sale Wheel chairs and stuff, it was the same place we got our Apnea monitor from.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions! Unfortunately, we don’t have a CVS here, so I went ahead and ordered the syringes off amazon.com. I also ordered 100 ct. prefilled saline doses, since nowhere in town had those either. We have a lot or retired and elderly folks in our community, so the med supply companies here carry a lot of supplies geared toward them. Mostly ostomy care supplies, walkers, etc.
