It sounds like Hailey’s personality is really adorable! Isaac is the same way and it really cheers me up when i am so frustrated with his feeding issues-I hope it does the same for you!

She was unbearable for the first 10 months or so (screaming and crying all day), but she was the sweetest, happiest and funniest toddler. She still has a terrific and very wise sense of humor. I call her my genious/comedienne because she’s so smart and so funny.
It’s like the best medicine in the world, isn’t it? I thought I was in for the ride of a liftetime with her becasue she was such a difficult baby, but now she’s the easiest of my three.
I’m so happy to hear that Hailey is happier these days.

My friends used to always say “Wow, Amy, what do you think her personality is going to be like?” (When she was screaming and throwing fits all day). I just sighed and wished for the best! It’s nice to know that some difficult babies turn out to be so sweet! Whew! Hopefully we’ll be that lucky!

I’m hoping for the same thing. Myles is, well I shouldn’t say this, but he’s a tyrant! He has the worst temper I’ve ever seen in a baby. I’m hoping and praying things turn around when he’s a little older. I used to babysit a baby boy who had a terrible temper and I used to think “Dear God, I hope I never have a baby like this!” Well, I still keep in touch with his parents and they say he grew into a sweet kid and his temper really subsided as he got older. So, I guess there’s hope for Myles, too.

He is still a pretty happy baby and he is cuddly but he still cries and shouts and screams and has tantrums all day long! (yes, tantrums where he stomps his feet, grabs things and throws them around really hard and runs around the house like a mad man!)
December 17, 2006 at 9:47 am #20610AnonymousInactiveThais,
Matthew’s still pretty young. He’ll probably outgrow it too. Myles is a sweet, cuddly baby too, but man he’s got a temper that just blows my mind. He head butts me when he’s mad and he screams so loud and so incessantly that I’m scared he’s going to pass out one day.

I sure hope it passes (for you too)!
December 17, 2006 at 3:40 pm #20621AnonymousInactiveI hope that your little ones tantrums pass! Yes, I am so happy that things have improved in that department with Hailey. But she also has quite a temper when she doesn’t get what she wants. If you offer her food that she doesn’t want she’ll yell “NO NO NO” and hit it out of your hand, then if you can’t find something for her that she does like, she’ll just start screaming. I thought that tantrums and running around like a crazed child were pretty par-for-the-course at this age. Sarah was like that too, and still is in many ways, but it’s easier to control now that she’s older and understands the rules. But Hailey is just funny, on top of all the lovable, huggable stuff that Sarah was too at this age.
