If the pH is low (their cuttoff being lower than 4 I guess), that means that it was acidic. It doesn’t have to do with a big or small episode or how high it came up. There can be non-acidic events that are uncomfortable as well.
Thanks. That makes sense. The tech said he didn’t see any reflux because there weren’t any ph readings in the 4s. I couldn’t believe that. I would assume that the fact that none of the readings were that low is because her medicine is working? Is there any other treatment to keep the reflux from coming up and bothering her or all we can do is keep the acid down?
