Hi all,
Just an update to my long, long saga! I’ve had Owen to the doc 3 times since last Tue all due to reflux, ears, etc! I’ve been very upset with my doc as he has not really been sympathetic at all to the situation and has really messed a lot with Owen’s reflux meds.A very long story short, todays visit was very productive, I don’t know what turned on the lightbulb for him, but he just said “I think it’s time for tubes”, and I thought I was going to burst into tears of joy!!!
He was on the phone and in minutes he came back and we have an appointment tomorrow with the ENT and he’s getting tubes on Thursday! I’m so excited I could shreek with joy!
There is always that risk with any procedure of course when they have to be put to sleep, but we have been sticking so many antibiotics in this child for the last 3 months and I really didn’t feel that was good for him either!Thank you all for the moral support! I hope this clears up 1/3 of the reflux, MSPI, ear infection mess for us and we can move on!!!!
Good luck!! I hope it goes smoothly and Owen has no more ear infections. That’s awesome that it’s going to be done so soon.

Great news!!! I hope it makes a big difference for him and for your whole family. I’m sure it is scary to have them put to sleep, but it is a common procedure, so try not to worry too much (easy for me to say
