We finally have a PedGI appt!

After fighting with our Ped office for 2 weeks (the Dr was on vacation, we were on vacation, it was 4th of July, and lots of phone tag) Reiker finally has an appt at Children’s Mercy on August 27th.

I’m supposed to be getting a letter in the mail with more details.

This appointment can’t come fast enough.

Hooray! I’m sorry it’s still so far off though, but I guess it could be worse. I hope the appointment goes well and you get the help you need for your little guy? How’s he been doing?

Great news! You might want to call them and ask to be put on their cancellation list. There’s a chance you might get in sooner that way. Good luck!

Good idea about the cancellation list! I’m happy that you were able to get in even though it’s so far away but I hope it provides the answers you need to get Reiker back on track!! Good luck!!!

he does pretty good most days, but it’s pretty obvious when he’s having break through pain, and I hate having to see him like that.

He also had been sleeping through the night, and he’s now back to waking up at least once a night.

Good news about the appointment. Sorry about the wait though. I’d definitely call to get put on the cancellation list, and also call them every week to see if there are any openings.
