I am new to this forum! I have already found such useful information -THANKS!
My daughter is 7 weeks old and is on a South African version of Prilosec called Altosec(20mg/day). She has been on this for 8 days with minimal change in her reflux and pain. Over the last few nights she has woken every hour or so and she has been gassy in the night and seems to be having terrible pain, the only thing that soothes her is to nurse her.
She is breastfed even though I want to through in the towel and give her formula because she is a comfort eater.
Please help with some insight as to what could be causing her stomach problems at night (meds?)and how I could help her sleep better.
I just want a happy, pain free baby girl
