Oh my goodness!!!! I knew I had to research this and forgot. I’m kicking myself in the gut! Lil Nyana had only two shots on Monday. I am on a slow schedule with vaccines. Well Tue-present she’s been TERRIBLE!!!! Gagging, coughing, choking soooo bad! Just today it hit me and others confirmed that yes vaccines will flare reflux in some lo’s..grrrrr. I’ve honestly never seen her this bad . I have totally messed her up bad . Last night she was up every 2 hrs!!! I hope this ends soon .

I am curious to know if your little one is doing any better? I have a friend who had a very healthy baby that hardly ever spit up and as soon as he got his vaccines he started not only spitting up but projectile vomitting. He is still a lot more of a spitty baby than he was before his shots.

I have heard many comment on how shots make their babies worse but I don’t normally hear how soon they return to what they were before or do they stay the same or continually get worse?

Here is a link to an article where a doctor talks about how children with digestive problems are normally not healthy enough to handle vaccines. I wish badly I had known about this when my son was a baby and suffering badly from digestive problems. 🙁

She went back to her normal self after 3 days. But she has had a few episodes of vomiting and not sure if reflux is peaking at 4 1/2 months or lingering effects of vaccines. Page not found on link, but I will research it. This whole thing makes me want to wait on vaccines until she’s a little older and stronger. I’m already very hesitant w vaccines as it is. I have heard of some babies taking 1-2 weeks, months or never really recuperating from it. Yikes!

my son always got worse w/ vacines, but he was fine after a few days

vacines can be a controversial topic…

parents must educate themselves and do what they know to be best!

I have NOT heard of any long-lasting reflux-related effects of vaccinations – this should make everyone feel better?
