I wanted to come back to this site and post my update to those moms who are where I was just 6 months ago and to thank those moms who helped get me through. I know how hard having a baby with reflux/MSPI issues is as I was truly losing my mind(as some will remember!). I was scared for my baby, sad for the loss of that “cherishable” time and just all around confused, stressed out and tired. I NEVER thought we’d get to where we are now. We were on Prevacid for around 6 months or so with mild changes. Catelin never did a 100% turnaround on it but she did improve quite a bit. BUT……
I am SO happy to report that she is now 10 months and OFF of ALL Prevacid AND Neocate!
She has been eating full table foods, including all dairy, for over a month now w/out a single issue. IT CAN/WILL HAPPEN!! I don’t know HOW we got through it but we did. If you had asked me 6 months ago if we’d be in this postion now, I would have never believed it! I know not every story will turn out exactly like ours but my point is…just HANG ON….it DOES get better. W/out this website, I would have never gotten through the rough patches, ever. THANK YOU & HUGS to all the moms who helped me when I needed it most. This site in INVALUABLE for advice, referrals, information and just plain SUPPORT! Keep doing what you’re doing as it is so very much appreciated.Sincerely,
