… well the mucous continued in his diapers.. soo i took him into the GI today.. and guess what? no soy for him anymore. ugh.
now no dairy and no soy!!! poor boy.
we have to do rice milk… and add olive oil to it..they said. i am so aggrivated right now.. not at anyone.. just aggrivated at how hard this is going to be.
I’m so sorry the soy didn’t work out. It must be so frustrating, but at least you’re starting to figure things out. I hope Shane does well on the rice milk with olive oil. Good luck with it!
Maybe this will help with his sleep issues. We had to do a no dairy & soy diet for Colt. I will tell you that there isn’t much food out there that doesn’t have one or the other in it. I am sorry I really know how frustiration this can be.
Bummers, Lauren! That’s really too bad and I’m sorry that you are going to have to deal with no soy and no dairy for Shane. I’m sure it’s going to be tough, but hopefully you can find some good food ideas here in the MSPI forum.
I hope his sleep improves. Maybe that will be the silver lining!
Oh no!!! Lauren I am so sorry to hear that Shane can’t do soy either. Hopefully it’s something he’ll outgrow soon. I will keep my eyes open for any good food ideas for you. I know you must be so frustrated.
So sorry to hear this Lauren. I hope that he will outgrow it soon, and I guess it’s good to finally be getting to the bottom of his food issues. Did you decide that goat’s milk was a no go too?
can you tell me how much rice milk & how much olive oil? Also what brand rice milk? I’m asking bcse a) I wnat to keep on my toes, lol and b) to know of something for Ari to drink while at the babysitter’s if he won’t drink milk…
I am so sorry to here about the soy. I know you battled with this so much. But the olive oil is a great idea, I don’t know why none of us thought about that. It is a great way to get those good fats into his diet…. I hope he outgrows this soon.
