Dr Phillips would recommend that she get 30 mg per day, split into three doses of 10 mg. Also, you should mix it at a 2 mg/mL concentration by adding 6.5 mL of water to each packet. Then you would give 5 mL, three times per day. It can be given without regard to mealtime, and will stay stable in the refrigerator for up to 21 days. You can mix the dose in with a small amount of formula or milk, as long as you make sure that she drinks the whole amount.
It’s easiest to mix it up in a big syringe (20 or 30 cc) and store it in the syringe in the fridge with a tip cap on the end. You can then squirt each dose into a small (5 cc) oral dosing syringe for administration.
At that higher dosage, it should not take more than a 4 or 5 days to see the results. It’s possible that there is something in the solutabs that is causing her cramping and pain, but I wouldn’t know about that for sure. Let me know if you have any more questions.
