Too Much

Jacob had been spitting up non stop tonight.
He had a bottle around 7:30 and just keeps spitting up. We have gone through more than 5 burp cloths in about 2 hours. And as for clothes, forget about it.. If we are home, he is naked so I don’t have to change him a million times..
My husband’s solution is feed him more~I say no more since it’s all coming back up anyway.
I thought his stomach settled a bit so…
I gave him a bath and put his lavender lotion on him and gave him his pacifier and what do you know, a ton of spit up all over my bed.

We gave him some Mylanta earlier in the evening since he was so uncomfortable.

It has just been a bad night around here and I’m hoping he sleeps well since I need the rest too.

As you can see we are about to hit the 4 month mark and I’m dreading it.. If it’s true that 4-7 months are the worst.

I am so sorry. My first was SUCH a BIG spitter,too. It was unbelieveable how much came out of my child. It was like 5 – 6 times every time he ate. It wasn’t always huge, but the multitude of times was unbelieveable. If I didn’t see it for myself I never would have believed it, so I TOTALLY sympathize with you! I did the same, left him in a diaper and turned up the heat (oil was not this expensive 5 years ago!). I am sending you the biggest hugs and telling you that I am getting back 10 fold from this child. He is an amazing child and I am so blessed to have him, so hang in there! He will be the love of your life in no time!!!!!!

So sorry you are going through this. We had many many days/nights like this last summer. We both changed clothes at least 5-6 times/day. I will say that 5-6 months were the worst for us.. but it did get better. Just hang in there.
