Where we live the water department has stated that we have the cleanest drink water, but would it cause my little 6 month old to get a tummy ach?
September 8, 2008 at 10:19 am #56231AnonymousInactiveI doubt it but if you’re worried try buying/using Nursery water… that’s what most of my friends that formula feed do. We used it for the 1st yr for my oldest son for mixing cereal & to add w/ juice.
September 8, 2008 at 1:20 pm #56240AnonymousInactiveWe use regular old tap water. The only time we don’t is if the house we are in has well water. In that case we use Nursery water with Flouride.
I don’t think the water would give him a tummy ache. JMHO though.September 8, 2008 at 5:23 pm #56261AnonymousInactiveI also use tap water. The only time I don’t, is when we are traveling. Then I use Nursery Water.

not to change subject.. BUT does anyone’s well water every smell like rotton eggs??!we have well water. ours does not have flouride (our pedi just knew this based on where we lived) lol. anyway, she said she feels like fluoride was ok, but didn’t want to give us fluoriude packets or drops b/c you can give a kid too much fluoride too. she told me to buy the kids Colgate toothpaste that contains fluoride and let them swallow some every night.p.s. i used bottled water too when mixing formula, but we have a PUR system on our faucet for just giving water now that they are older. landen is drinking (or should i say turning his nose up at) EO28 splash now and luckily it is premixed, i just poke a hole in the tetra pak and empty it into his sippy.coming back to edit/add: i have not noticed that smell with our water, but i know many people that swear their well water stinks like rotten eggs!jilly782008-09-09 07:47:07
