Jill – I just posted this on my other thread, but I completely think Evan is/was reacting to the CaraCream. His fighting bedtime feeding coincided exactly w/ starting CaraCream. Then, this week he doubled his caracream dose in the a.m. & he’s started fighting most daytime feeds. He hasn’t been able to settle down even in the swing or Moby (& even has been very fussy in bed w/ me). Also, since starting CaraCream (2wks ago) he’s thrown up entire feedings probably @ least once every other day (he’s a silent refluxer). Today he threw up an entire feeding & it smelled like the CaraCream (sorry if TMI) & immediately after that he settled down & napped for 2.5hrs. So, tonight we’re going back to capsules w/ pears & seeing if it’s making a difference. I don’t think it’s the answer to the blood in his stool, but it probably is causing him extra discomfort.

Erin,

I think going back to pills with pears is the right thing to do. McKenzie had the same problem as Landen did with Zegerid. Oddly she seems to be doing OK so far on the caracream, but we are only on day 4, but she is also older than Evan and maybe her digestion has matured some. She used to not be able to handle even Mylanta, and lately when I have used it she has been fine.

Erin- It sounds like the Caracream may have been bothering him. That is exactly how Landen was on it. I hope he settles down some on the Capsules again. Praying for you guys to get answers about the blood in the stools.
