Aftet cutting out the cereal in his bottle, Aidan’s still pretty much almost done with reflux…I hope (still on meds til he’s one due to the fact that I can still hear him reflux more than a few times a day)!!! He stood by himself today for a good 20 seconds..what’s up with that? He’ll look so odd if on the off chance he walks early, he’s very chubby and VERY short!!! He’s also talking, he said his first word, Cat, after pointing to the cat yesterday!..he tries to say everything we say to him, and we think he’s said flower, sock, Austin (his brother), not sure on those though. He’ll point to things if you ask him too (where’s the flower, car, book, etc etc) and points to everything saying “dat?”……he’s so early with some things, much earlier than my first in most things (except babbling/talking). HE’ll look at EVERY family member if you ask him where they are, even his cousins…but then again we all live here so he sees them almost daily……I just keep wondering when the other shoe will drop… He’s doing SO well, but I can’t help but worry that this might just be temporary and that his reflux will all of a sudden come back with a vengence…..I guess it’s just hard when things had been bad for so long to be able believe it’s so much better…

That’s awesome that he’s doing so well now! Hopefully things will keep getting better. That’s cute that he’s starting to say words. My second son starting talking, etc. earlier than the first too. I think it’s because they can watch and learn from their older brother.

How cute that he’s standing and talking already. The cat must feel honored! What a cute first word!

I was nervous for many weeks after Myles seemed to have outgrown his reflux because I was scared it was going to come back. And every time he had the slightest problem or was irritable I’d think, oh, no….the reflux is coming back. I’m finally starting to relax and enjoy him now, though he is a handful even without reflux.

I’m happy to hear that Aidan continues to do well.
