Starting Prevacid today, how soon 4 relief??

The 5mg/day (compounded suspension) gave some relief, but very little. With the 22.5 mg/day dose the reflux is definitely under control. I would definitely still suggest faxing your dr in 5-7 days (see my 2nd post on this thread). erinntx2008-06-30 22:21:02

Catelin is still awake and crying off and on since 10:am this morning. I am in shock. I will fax the doc but his part time doc(main one is on vacation) already told me this was a very high dose and the local pharmacist said she’s never filled anything higher then that. I will do the letter but I already know they aren’t going to help me(this is my 2nd ped and the youngest most up to date).

It’s 11:00 pm and my baby is finally sleeping. I am so emotinally drained and can’t stop crying myself. One-because of the day we had and two-because Im so afraid of what’s to come. Can you believe Im the same girl who thought I was overreacting two days ago?! Things have changed drastically in those two days. Anyway, I wanted to take a minute to THANK YOU all from the bottom of my heart. I feel like such an idiot(and yes, I have do a higher education-believe it or not), fumbling around trying to understand all the acronyms, terms and formulas! I hope I haven’t driven any of you crazy in my lunacy today, I’m floundering quite a bit. I hope it’s alright to continue to email with questions/concerns as I try to get this “straight.” Again, thank you so very much!

my baby went HOARSE from crying so much when we started a PPPI bcse no one told me to continue w/ the zantac!

I cried right along with him!
