we started incorporating the neocate into my sons bottles on tuesday.
today we are up to one ounce alimentum and the rest neocate. i cant
believe this….but he is happy again! is this possible?? i read that
in can take 2-3 months for neocate to heal the damage, but he is
acting like he is totally content already!! or maybe its a coincidence?
but this whole week since tuesday has been so much better!!

gosh i hope this lasts….

Oh that is sooo great!!!! I am so happy for you and your son…I hope he continues to improve!

I am so sorry about mis-leading you on getting the prescription for Neocate. When I had asked my pharmacist about it, he told me that I needed a prescription for it. I went back and talked to him this weekend and he said that I needed it for insurance purposes but not if I wanted to pay the full amount for it. Guess it was a big misunderstanding! I am sorry! Glad you got the Neocate and he is doing so well!

Sounds great… someone has to help me here with the website but there is a link floating around to an Australian website that explains the difference between an allergy and an intolerance and it says that if your baby has an allergy, then it will take sometime to heal but if it is an intolerance then it is just a matter of a couple of days… i think i am not making this up but who knows!! I swear i confused dreams and reality lately (or maybe it was in teh neocate website????). Anyway, that always stuck in my mind for whatever reason!!
