Spitting up ALOT!

OK, My 16 week old LO has her good days and her bad (like everyone else here). There are just some days where she hardly spits up and then other days where she spits up like crazy. She can’t handle oatmeal to thicken her formula yet (gets very gassy and constipated).

Does anyone think that a thickener would help? If so, which one and where do I get it?

Also, she has to burp ALOT and I feel the Mylicon makes her so much worse. Maybe it is the dye and I will try the dye free one, IDK?

I really hope someone here has some good suggestions for you. My little guy just recently went from Alimentum to Enfamil Gentlease, and it seems to be agreeing with him. I do know that certain brands of formula offer thickened versions, but also noticed that your LO is on Elacare.

My Kaden is not a huge spitter upper, but is finally on the right dose of medication as well.

Hang in there, and like you suggested, maybe try the dye free Mylicon? I can’t see if hurting if it doesn’t do the trick.
