soo many poops!

shane has been going poop soo many times a day the past few days! in the morning before 12 its a good 4 or 5 times!!! literally after he eats anything at all! the only thing different i know is that he has a shot of antibiotic on tuesday. could that do it?

Oh, yes. Antibiotics are know to cause diarrhea or loose stools. I wouldn’t have thought an antibiotic shot would do it because it’s not going through the stomach, but I guess it’s possible. The other possibilty is that he picked up some lousy stomach but at the doctor’s office. This has happened to my children more times than I care to remember.

I hope he’s feeling better soon.

Trace has been doing this-but that is since he started eating solids regularly.

As posted elsewhere Alana did this all the time after we started solids…probiotics I think have brought us down to two a day.

Ben pooped like a mad man, nasty yicky poos when he was on antibiotics.

Dagney has been pooping about 3-5 times/day since she started on solids, it seems to be calming down a bit, but most days she even wakes up with a little nugget in her diaper!

And that’s what we’ve begun referring to them as “Oh, she’s got a nugget in her diapie”! Normally they’re somewhere between the size of a pebble and a golfball! She’s not constipated, but definitely has to work harder at pooping now!
