Thanks again everyone! I keep trying to remind myself that even through all of this, she’s still a really good baby. She has obviously been fussy while dealing with the ear infections, but she still has a lot more peaceful, happy stretches than fussy patches. So, I’m trying to focus on that. Honestly, I am constantly amazed by how easy she really is. Apparently, I earned a lot of good karma by surviving Kaelyn and I’ve been rewarded this time around.

Only five more days until tubes!!!!

I’m so sorry your little one (and you) have had to go through this! I know how painful those ear infections are as I remember having some as a child. Caden just finished a round of Omnicef, and I’m praying the infection is gone. I’m not convinced, because he still touches his ear sometimes and has been fussy today especially. I’m going to make an appt to have his ears checked if this continues..

Aidan just got off a round omnicef, and put on a high dose of amoxicillan. I’m so sorry to hear about Alex’s ear infections!!! I know exactly how you feel, Aidan got his tubes a day after his first birthday, after having a bunch of double ear infections back to back. I think he’s been on every antibiotic in the book. His ears have been fine since the tubes!

(ironicly enough, the latest meds are for his nose issues. We sure getting our money’s worth out of the ENT here!)
