Jay had his endoscopy and ph probe done. Now we are waiting for the results. The GI talked to us right after the procedure saying that he did not see any visual damage or anything. Everything looked normal. The biopsies and ph probe results will be in by the time we seem him in two weeks… yea a loooong two wks. His stool test for fat malabsorption hasn’t come back either.
He is still not eating….. not another two weeks of agony….. I am really breaking apart….
He does eat some table food here and there, so I asked the GI if we can do some duocal or polycose. The dr simply refused it. He said try some carnation instant breakfast with milk. HE DOES NOT DRINK MILK. Tried pediasure, he takes a sip and thats it. My left breast has dried up. Now what he is doing is try to nurse and suckels a few times and then just leaves his mouth there to fall asleep or to play. He’s gotta be kidding me!!! He has not put on any weight for 2wks.
