slept GREAT the past 2 nights!!

yay! i dont want to jinx myself! but shane slept sooo good the past 2 nights! and the only thing i have done different is different pj’s!! they are 100% cotton… would these really play that much of a big part!!? what i mean by soo good.. is almost NO tossing and turning.. at least A LOT less! and only woke once and fell back asleep!

But have you never used cotton pajamas in the past?

I go so crazy about this… when Hailey has a good night by her standards, I get so obsessed, and sometimes I refuse to change her pajamas, thinking that maybe that was it. For us it’s usually just a fluke.

Maybe it’s that he’s back on the PPI again.

I don’t doubt that cotton pajamas are more comfortable because they let your skin breathe so you don’t get sweaty and clammy underneath them, and they don’t stick to your skin in that yucky way that some pj’s do.

Anyway, I’m happy Shane is sleeping better. I thope this is the beginning of good things!

hey lori.. no he is back off his ppi’s!! since last thursday… the GI doc doesnt think he needs them anymore.. and they hadnt helped with his sleep. but anyhow.. its so strange! i have 2 pairs of his new PJ’s and i DONT want to change them! i am washing both of them right now! haha

and christine, i know they help you breath better.. but c’mon could this really solve his strange moving all night long??! if so i am def. writing a book!!

we’ll see after a couple more nights of good.. i will go back to his polyester ones and see what happens!

Shelby (justice’s mom) said she thinks he slept better in certain PJs too so maybe there’s a connection!!!!

i forgot to update you guys that the 4th night was back to mad.. and has been like that! well my mom had him last night and said he didnt wake once! but did roll around a bit.

It was me that first talked about cotton pjs. But with Colt it is a fact that he can’t wear polyester. So the way he wiggles all night just doubles if we put him in anything other than cotton. I first heard about this on Dr. Sears website. He had a nurse who worked for him and her baby would wiggle all night long. Without realizing it she bought him cotton pjs and he slept all night. For her this was the answer. It is the answer for us too but Colt still has other issues so he isn’t the best sleeper. Sorry it didn’t help you.

you know what? maybe you are right! i think he isnt the best sleeper anyhow.. so the cotton probably wont solve all his sleeping issues.. but the polyester i have put him back in the past couple night i really think has made it even WORSE!

maybe there is something behind it with him.. i will continue experimenting
