Anyone in Canada have any luck getting this covered via insurance?
I would think it should be covered, it’s non nutritive and necessary as she is getting crampy with the rice cereal thickening and I would argue that this leads to disrupted sleep patterns and could contribute to food aversion….

Yes that too of course is the reason we’re thickening. I just wonder if they’ll question why I just don’t use cereal.
You may just need a letter of need type thing from your doc stating that cereal is not an option b/c of the other gi issues she has. There is an insurance area on here that has tricks on how to approach the ins companies.

Just what I would say. The others would NOT be acceptable because of the issues they would cause.
