Alexis has been sick on and off again mostly on since October ranging from double ear infections to strep throat, but now she has RSV! I truly cannot believe it, since we really don’t take her out at all! She currenlty has an ear infection, RSV, and pneumonia, and she is just feeling horrible! She is very irriatable, all she wants to do is suck on her pacifer and nap (but she can’t seem to fall asleep due to the coughing) so she is Miss Crabby and ultra sensitive, she just can’t be pleased. She has never been a good eatter but started to do better on an appetite stimulant but now with her being so sick she doesn’t want to eat anything, cries at the sight of food! I just can’t wait for warmer weather for her to feel better!

Oh that just stinks!!!! My guys have been sick a lot this winter too but nothing to the degree you are dealing with. I hope you can find something to keep her comfortable till this all passes. You must be so tired!

UGH – that does stink! We just went through a roseola, ear infection, eye teeth round and it sure was brutal on Hailey’s appetite! I think she went days without eating more than a cracker and a cup of juice. She stopped drinking her bottle with this last sickness too – she’s been off of the bottle for about two weeks now. I hope she gets better soon!!!!

I know just how you feel. Robbie was in the hospital for two days two weekends ago with RSV. He had been sick since Christmas and he just finally got bad enough that they could treat him for something. It can be really frustrating and worrying. Hang in there!

ohhhhh hun many huggggggs I hope she feels better soon. It’s rough to be so little and so sick.. (rough on mom too)..winter will be out of here soon..stay strong

I am so sorry you are all going through this AGAIN! It has been a lousy winter for you guys. Hopefully things look better in the spring. Hang in there! BTW–are any of these illnesses a danger to Baby #2?Emmy2006-2-21 11:51:37

Thank goodness nothing is so far that I know of a danger to Baby #2. I just hope by the time the second one comes Alexis is doing much better. We thought Alexis was doing better but now she is up coughing again, the MD wants us to continue her cough syrup and nebulizer treatments until her follow up appt on Friday. I just want to spray the entire house with bleach to kill every single germ possible!
