Hi, I am a mother of a 2 year old daughter who has been battling acid reflux since she was 3 months old. Her doctor put her on Zantac. Lately she has been extremely picky about what food she eats. She will request food and even say she’s hungry, but when I give her what she wants she refuses to eat. It is very frustrating because I know she has to be hungry. Has anyone else had the same problem?
Kaelyn does this off and on all of the time. She’ll scream and cry for something and then refuse to eat it. In her case, it goes in waves, so I just assumed that it was normal toddler pickiness – combined with her independent nature and extreme stubborn streak! I’ve never worried about it because she’ll do this for a couple of days and then have a day where she eats pretty well, so I figure that it balances out.
We have been going through this for a while now. We just got into therapy today for it through Early Intervention….have you thought about maybe going there to see if they think it is an issue?
