to add to what laura said–“EVERYTHING” can aggravate reflux (mostly referring to illnesses here, i guess.
actualy, though, your son’s reaction after a vaccine does not sound like it is out of the range of what would be considered normal, especially since it is just for a few days. i remember all the literature they used to give us that said your child could be cranky, sore, run a fever, turn in to a different species, etc. (sorry, i couldn’t resist, kids can be such bears!)
i hate to admit this to you since you are having such troubles after shots–but my kids hardly ever were bothered by their shots. the only one i wish i had never given them was the shot for chicken pox. i actually had my doctor’s office order it in for my kids when it first became available–so now i have 4 kids that have never had the chicken pox and i don’t what will happen with them in the future. elliot got the chicken pox because he didn’t get the shot. by the time sammie was older and in for shots, they were doing it routinely—and i didn’t think about it, or else i wasn’t aware of the problems, otherwise i would have refused to let them give it to sammie and sylvia. sylvia got the chicken pox anyway, even after she got the shot—and of course she was scheduled for an anesthetised procedure–which we had to cancel. it was at the end of the year, our deductible was met—and we had to reschedule and then meet a new deductible. sorry for the rembling story–i get carried away sometimes!LOL!!
