How many of you looked for a book to help you through infant reflux? I am thinking about writing a gentle sleep training book and it just came to me that I could write a book on how to survive infant reflux.

I’ve thought of writing a book, but what I’ve found is that when you’re in the middle of it all, it’s just easier to hop online and ask questions…just my thought…when I was in the middle of the nightmare I barely had time to take a shower & I never left the house so the thought of a book never would have crossed my mind…how motivated of you!!!

I’ve started writing a short memoir. But we were going through such a bad time that I couldn’t even go to the b/r without a screaming baby in the thick of it, and then in retrospect, a lot of the emotion and accuracy was lost.

There is a book out on the market,”riding the reflux rollercoaster”, about one mom’s journey.

I did look for a book, and I probably would have tried to read it even when things were so hard. Not everyone is into the internet and enjoys using the computer, so I wish there were more books on infant reflux out there. I felt so isolated because no one I knew had a reflux baby, and I didn’t find this site until I had my second refluxer. I think a book on how to survive infant reflux would be great!!!

I think a book would be a great idea too…but maybe you could have a print book as well as an online version…that way you could hit both types of moms.

I never even thought of a book…I’m with Laura…getting a shower was a major achievement so reading wouldn’t have made the list of primary things to do. I didn’t even read all the books my mom got me on the first year of life. I think its a great idea though…the online book thing is great too.

Since finding this forum the other day and you introducing me to Marci-Kids, I havent thought about writing a book but instead a Ton of Brochures about this website and the Marci-Kids site and going from every pediatric doctors office I can find in a 1 hour driving radius and pleeding with them t9o take a look at them and dropping them off.

If I would have found this site when she was 2-4 weeks old instead of 6 months into it, I bet things would have been alot better so long ago and I wonder how many moms have suffered needlessly

Sound like a plan?

I think not only moms of refluxers would read it – I know my mother is always looking for info about it too. Grandma’s always want to know more to help their daughters and grandbabies! And Grandmas aren’t always internet savvy! Good luck!
