Emma is finally having an endoscopy next Wednesday, the 30th. I know what to expect and what they do, I am curious to find out from those of you that have experienced this with your little ones what the results showed of the scope itself and the biopies???? Thanksbtrue2006-8-21 14:44:33

Hi Brandy!

When we had Henry’s scope, I was sooo nervous of them finding something major. That was my worst fear. As it turned out, I didn’t prepare myself for them to come out and say everything looks great. Weird, huh? It’s the best news, and yet we were back to square one. I said to the doctor, and I’m not lying, “What do you mean???But the kid doesn’t sleep!!! You have to do something! We can’t live like this!”

It was all emotions I’m sure. Our biopsies came back all clear as well.

The best news IS to find nothing, there’s no doubt.

we saw that sylvia had pretty bad esophagitis and that her esophagus was getting ulcerated.

Thanks guys!!! Deep down I feel that it will come back normal, that is why I kept putting it off. I finally just thought that its not going to hurt anything to do it and if I am missing something I would feel stupid if I didn’t to it so here we go. I try to keep up on everybody as much as I can but my job keeps me from here more than I wish and I know I have missed the outcomes of others. I still (I don’t know why) haven’t got the internet at home so that makes it a pain too.

Amy ~ Sorry it has been so long since we chatted, I apologize. I can’t believe your due already. My b-day is the 26th, how cool. Good luck, I hope everything goes smooth. Enjoy the days in the hospital, that is the best part, having people wait on you!!! I pray for no reflux or food issues!!!

The first one, MAtthew had mild esophagitis on a huge dose of prevacid… but biopsies came back clear.

The second one, he was all clear and therefore they decided not to take biopsies.
