Your doctor is incorrect – it is quite possible to have a milk (or soy)
intolerance without blood in stool. In fact, blood in stool more often
indicates an actual allergy and not an intolerance. He is correct
though that you cannot tell intolerance from endoscopy – only true
allergies from that. Nor would an allergist be able to determine
intolerance. Really it’s trial and error – you’d likely have to do a
two week trial of Neocate to see if it helped and if so, voila.
Is her pain only at night though? How is she during the day?
