Hey quick ?, I read a post on here, (somewhere) where someone wrote that giving prevacid in large doses can have the same nuerological effects as reglan (at least i THINK it was reglan…) can ..is that true???? I am very very worried now..my 9 week old takes 30 mgs of it…

Never heard of it. In fact your baby is one of the lucky ones that is on a high dose of PPI. Many docs. won’t got that high because they are going off of research that is already 10 years old. Now the folks at marci’s kids know that babies metabolize faster than adults. My daughter did have horrible stomach aches and gas from the prevacid, so i just made the switch to zegerid.

I’ve never heard that either. Kaelyn has been on prevacid for 18 months with no side effects.

ok ty guys!!!!! yeah his dose has been wonderful ( the packets however suck but our insurance does nt cover the soltabs).
