I have read a lot of posts dealing with the difficulty of giving the solutabs. I also had a difficult time with the beads sticking to the syringe. I had also had a hard time holding the tab against his cheek. I recently visited my Mom, who happens to be a nurse of 30 years, and she was able to give him the solutab without a problem. She put the tablet at the bottom of the syringe and drew up the water WITHOUT shaking the syringe. She just let the tablet dissolve at the bottom of the syringe and then tapped the syringe so that the beads would sink to the bottom. Then she squirted some of it into my son’s mouth. After the first squirt, she just tapped it again so that the beads would sink to the bottom and squirted a little bit more. She just kept repeating this without ever shaking the syringe and every single bead comes out each time! I am not sure if any of this makes sense, but it works for us and I think that it is easier than holding it against his cheek. Hope this helps someone.
