Trace has been screaming bloody murder all day. he doesnt want to eat much. though when he does eat he is not in any pain.
actually he has been extremely cranky and clingy the past 2 weeks, or maybe even 3. i dont see any more teeth coming in. i have no idea whats wrong. he is on about 27 mg of prevacid.
today i am losing my mind. he has been crying NON STOP since about 10 am. he wants me to hold him and even then he whines.February 1, 2007 at 6:18 pm #23782AnonymousInactivehe also chews on everything. he always has to have a chew toy in his hand/mouth-his favorite rattle. makes you think he is contsantly teething but i think its a comfort thing because he wont take a paci. i dont know
February 1, 2007 at 7:07 pm #23784AnonymousInactiveCan you wear him in a sling? I know it’s not an answer, but will at least free up your arms while you’re trying to figure out what’s wrong.
Otherwise, maybe can you give a dose of motrin? If it’s teething, it should help some. If not, then maybe you can try a dose of mylanta and see if it’s reflux.
February 1, 2007 at 7:38 pm #23788AnonymousInactiveSorry no advice, but these two need to stop acting up at the same time! First the stomach flu at the same time and now something else which we have no idea what’s going on! I think we need a break!!!
February 1, 2007 at 10:14 pm #23801AnonymousInactiveI am right there with you guys. Justice has been the same way. Sadly I don’t know for exactly how long. It seems like forever. Carrying him around has helped a little. How is Trace sleeping? Justice is not sleeping well at all. That I know has been going on forever, but seems to be getting worse. If you ladies figure out what is going on please let me know. Maybe it is the same for us. I don’t know about you guys, but I am so sick of this. I just want Justice to be happy and sleep. Is that so much to ask? They are all so close to 9 months and they should outgrow it at 9 months. My first did. I guess I shouldn’t be counting on it, but oh man it would be so nice.
February 1, 2007 at 10:52 pm #23807AnonymousInactivewhats up with Taylor?
i can carry Trace in the bjorn for about 10 min, before that thing makes my back hurt really badly!!
honestly i have been giving him either tylenol or motrin like every other day for about 2 weeks now….
i know that cannot be a good thing, i am just desperate.
i am so exhausted. i feel so trapped in this house every day.February 2, 2007 at 4:21 am #23814AnonymousInactiveSo sorry to hear everything is so tough at the moment for you guys. Wishing there was some help to offer…but I’m thinking of you and hoping for a better day tommorrow.
February 2, 2007 at 10:50 am #23850AnonymousInactiveTaylor has been spitting up again! She was doing so good with keeping everything down but now it’s back to spitting up. I too have been giving her Tylenol just incase it is teething! But of course I don’t see anything popping up. Last night she kept on waking up, not crying but just up. I scheduled an appt for today to see the MD but ended up canceling, I really don’t think they are going to find anything! I just don’t know what’s up!
February 2, 2007 at 3:39 pm #23874AnonymousInactiveI know this is probably stupid advice, but could it be ears? I would just about be crazy sometimes with Dylan, and it did turn out to be ears a lot.
Hope things are getting better!!!
February 3, 2007 at 3:35 pm #23989AnonymousInactiveI was thinking ears too. You would think that eating would bother it though, but maybe the swallowing soothes it?
