no more sleep 4 me!!

I thought things would we getting better by now too! My dd was born on aug. 10. I am all alone half the time too. I have to beg my husband not to leave me (he leaves for 2 weeks at a time) and i have no family here). My poor daughters are 14 and 7 and they offer to help me at night. Bet you feel like a pharmasict at your house! That’s how I feel, everyone seems to have some kind of problem at the same time. Everybody stayed home today!

Teething must have something to do with this no sleeping thing. I heard it makes the reflux worse, more acidic. I tried the benedryl thing and orajel and tylenol but they made it worse. I actually swaddled her up really tight so she couldn’t get loose last night and took her for a drive around the neighborhood, hope I didn’t take out any animals or mailboxes! hang in there! Sarah

Sometimes I think it’s almost worse when they tease you with getting some sleep. It’s like you get a few good days, and then your body goes “oh ya, I remember this”, and then when the sleeping goes bad again it’s so hard to adjust. Sleep deprivation can be so terrible. And just for the record, I’ve said my share of BAD words too. Hopefully hailey is too young to understand, and g-d will forgive me.

Hi Sarah! You are soo lucky to have your daughters to help u! Eden hates everyone but me, and nobody has ever been able to look after her for me! (except for my DH if i have a shower or something!! ) I suppose a least he is here every day at some point!! Poor you! being all alone for 2 weeks at a time! I think i’d beg my DH not to go to work if he went for that long! I’m so relieved to have found this forum, because i don’t feel like i’m the only one to be feeling like this! It makes me not feel so lonely really Thanks to everyone for understanding
