yes, it is a 3 hour surgery and they to put him under and on a vetilator which I am nervous about but this is routine for these doctors so I want to stay positive.

Good luck with the surgery next week! I’m sure it’s kind of bittersweet – you’ll be glad to have the lip closed, but it’s scary to put your baby through surgery. My son had the cleft palate surgery, so I kinda know what you’re going through. Anyway, good luck, and keep us posted.

Welcome. I feel for your little Nico my dd has reflux too.

first of, Neocate was a big help for my DD’s projectile vomiting. It took like two weeks to see any improvement. She also was hard to feed. she ended up with a NG tube and we only changed it evrey 3 weeks or when she pulled it out(not very often, but she did). I changed it myself. the ped taught me how to do it. The first time was scary, but then you get used to it. She now had a G-tube. I hope his surgery goes well. My dd slept on a tucker sling (elevated 30 degree) and that helped her reflux. Good luck with everyhting.
