So I have a Bjorn – we bought it before Janna was born and while it generally works okay for her with some careful adjusting – she has had two spit-up choking episodes in it within the last week.
So I went searching for a new baby carrying alternative and found there’s a woman who has an “in home” shop in my home town.

I visited with her today for an hour; my DH had baby duty while she showed me some options. I settled on a wrap style carrier.

I love the versatility and comfort of this wrap. It’s a little tricky to learn to tie properly but like anything, once you’ve figured it out it’s a snap. I love that I can easily take her in and out of this carrier without removing it from my body or making any adjustments with buckles snaps etc. It will keep her head secure and I have the choice of two different positions that are appropriate for a GERDling.
I’ll have to wait until next week – as she only had the sample in house and is making mine this week. – which is nice because I was able to choose the fabrics and colours.
It was great to try a variety and see how they performed before making a choice – I’m so glad I found this business close to home.
Once I have had the chance to use this carrier around the house I’ll post a bit of a review for any other baby carrying “geeks” out there.
