Heya Johanna, I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to call you back, I ended up having to stay at the dr forever, and my phone did indeed die (bad luck with cell phones). Anyway, I had a whole post written out for you on this but my computer froze!!!!
Ok, anyway, like I said I can’t believe that poor Jacob is still in so much pain, and I hope that the GI takes her head out of her
(sorry-for those who don’t know Aidan has seen the same one) and you guys get some concrete answers VERY soon!!!!! He’s not a “mystery” child, he’s just a sweet little boy who doesn’t deserve to be in so much pain, and the dr’s need to be working overtime to figure out a medicine/formula combo that he can tolerate (not that they actually WILL, but we can dream right???).I’ll give you a call tomorrow, if you have a chance to check this post just let me know a good time, otherwise I’ll try around 2ish?
I wish I had some actual advice for you, all I can say is vent away all you can, it REALLY helps (just to your husband, I found out that that is a no-no, I don’t think they can handle it when we start venting, mine goes on cruise control whenever I start)
Naomi – I have been dosing the carafate and prevacid far apart, so I guess it’s not that either. UGH! Will we ever find an answer?!??! Thanks for thinking of us.
