Need your opinions please

Let me start off by saying, I’m having a rough day and in a medication induced brain fog, so I apolgize for any spelling errors or if I do not make sense…just tell me! lol

anyway- I have been slowly adding Vance’s Darifree (potato milk) to landen’s neocate. He has done pretty well with it so far and it’s been about a week. This is our 2nd trial of it. I stopped a previous one when he had gotten sick and his ear tube was acting up and I wasn’t sure what was bothering him. Well, now he’s teething (4 eye teeth) and he’s not having any gas symptoms like he did on rice milk, cow’s milk, soy milk & oat milk.

However, he did have a little bit of mucous in his poop yesterday, he’s been fussy (but he is teething) and he’s been burping a lot (dry burps though) and gulping (like a reflux gulp) but sleeping FINE. I wonder if he just needs to keep adjusting to the milk. He’s at about 4oz Darifree and 3oz Neocate. He’s never taken more than 7oz liquid at a time.

So can anyone put all of that together for me? LOL

I am to braindead in an anti-seizure med zombie-like state to figure it out.

Hmmmm. That is interesting. Can he eat potatoes? I don’t know what the potato milk is made of (Can you pm me the ingrident list when you have time). I almost bet that the mucous is from the excess saliva from the teething. Cooper was miserable with his upper 2 eye teeth and I think his bottoms are working on coming in now so I know what you mean. I might give it a few more days just to see if it gets worse? I hope your head clears up soon. I hate medication induced zombiness.

He has always been fine with potatoes. He LOVES McCain smiles fries.

I think if he is fine with potatoes the milk is probably OK. My GI told me with Brianna that just because there is one symptom (ie mucous) doesn’t mean an intolerance. now if the diapers start getting just grossly filled with mucous, then maybe I would take another look. 🙂 Good luck
