I’m assuming a PPI (Prevacid, Prilosec, etc.) and at least 2 antibiotics (usually amoxicillin and Biaxin). We sometimes also recommend Pepto Bismol used 4 times a day when treating H. pylori. It actually has antibacterial properties, and it could also help with the GI related side effects of the other meds.
Here is a link that might be helpful:It’s a pretty long article, but about halfway down they have a few tables that list the various recommended medical treatments for H. pylori eradication, and they even discuss treatment for children.I hope she has some relief soon,Sheri (a pharmacist)June 2, 2008 at 6:25 pm #52092AnonymousInactiveMFPIx2 wrote: I’m sorry you and your daughter are going through this!
