I was wondering if anyone has had success with meds making their refluxers comfortable enough to nap when they hadn’t previously? My daughter has just started ranitidine, and I was thinking back to my son’s experience, and how the medicine helped him tremendously, but it didn’t actually change his sleep habits, or lack thereof.
also sleeping on the tummy can help- there’s an angelcare monitor you can look into – also for naps, if you can watch, put a beanie baby on baby’s back to see that s/he’s breathing (it goes up & down) & also the weight feels like your hand…
Thats a neat idea with the beanie baby! I have been putting her down on her side since 3 weeks of age, as we have a sleep positioner. She fights sleep in all places, but especially the crib, until the afternoon when she is exhausted.
