My little guy has started having green mucus filled diapers. He has been on elecare for a week and a half now. Before he was on nutramigen for about two weeks, which gave him diarrhea. He has never had mucus in his stool before. Should I be worried?
December 18, 2010 at 10:22 am #67407hellbenntKeymasterit might be all the ‘stuff’ working it’s way out of his system?

His bowel movements have also gotten smaller and it seems more difficult to pass. Thanks for the reply and the heads up on my signature.

On Dec. 21st we saw his GI doctor, who thought the mucus might be something viral going on, so he said wait till the new year and if he is still having the mucus, we will do additional testing. Well, he still has the mucus problem, so we will be calling the dr. tomorrow.
January 3, 2011 at 2:14 pm #67485hellbenntKeymastermaybe try neocate? it’s the ‘same’ as elecare, but a different brand- maybe one brand over the other would help in this case?
