My 3 1/2 year old is who originally brought me to this forum….
These days he is off of his Prevacid & eating all foods. He hasn’t had a cyclic vomiting episode in at least 4 months. (knockonwood) He has gained at least 3 lbs and about 3 inches in the 4 months since we took him off the Prevacid.
We have had a few viruses move through our household that involved vomiting, but fortunately with Zofran, we were able to avoid a CVS episode. 🙂
Nowadays, my little one (20 months old) is my big worry. He has anaphylactic food allergies and has actually been in the hospital twice in 10 days for Anaphylaxis.
His blood testing has revealed that he is highly allergic to milk and peanuts (the two that sent him to the ER) and then also eggs and tree nuts.
He might also be allergic to corn, tomatoes, and bananas.
Anyway, that’s our update. I’d love to stay a member to tell others about our experience with Sandifer’s Syndrome and that my son appears to have outgrown it!
I just don’t have time to be super active!
