this is one thing we take a chance with when we read labels for our celiac girls. i think that the equipment is cleaned down before another product is processed—and sometimes it just means it is made in the same facility. we used to avoid “made in the same facility, or shared equipment foods” but we go ahead and try them now. we do blood tests every 6 months on our girls, so we can keep an eye on whether or not they are getting gluten in their diet. i realize that you can’t test for soy allergy, but if your child doesn’t seem to be reacting, it is probably alright.
