Evan has been unmedicated for 8 days now. He couldn’t have meds the day of his scopes last week & since he was fine w/o them that day we decided to try another day & had the same results. We keep waiting for a bad day as we have no problem putting him back on them, but so far nothing that bad (he still has some tummy pain now & then but even that is almost non-existent).
Okay, so to my question.
Oftentimes Evan nurses in our bed lying flat on his back. He lays there for 20-30 min after (not sleeping) content. Also recently I’ve been laying him flat on his back the floor to play right after nursing & he’s fine.He also nurses throughout the night in our bed flat on his back & doesn’t fuss or cry a bit, but in the past I’ve always attributed this to the fact that he’s nursing the pain away-lol.Is it safe to assume that he’s either a) not refluxing, or b) not experiencing reflux related pain?Or am I being given false hope…
erinntx 2008-08-08 14:34:03 it seems to me that maybe his reflux is due to his protein intolerances and so now that you’ve gotten those under control via your diet/his diet, he may not be refluxing as much (if at all) anymore
(this is actually quite ‘rare’ from what I can gather…)so, if he’s happy on his back, keep him on his back
