Hi Lori,

I saw a little boy get an EEG and they definitely did the strobe light thing that you described, so I think it’s probably standard. I’m sorry they were so insensitive and unprofessional. She didn’t sound like much of an “expert.” I hope the results are good and that you can at least put this behind you for good.

Thanks Christine. I guess I have high expectations for health professionals who work with children. But really, I’d never heard of babies that didn’t eat until mine came along. So maybe I’m the one that needs to be more openminded and sensitive.

That is just horrible! How would they not know about sleep feeding and feeding aversions? I feel so bad for you and Hailey! I hope the EEG results come out normal. Did she sleep well last night? Teething is so bad sometimes. Isaac is still getting the 4 molars in and it is not helping the hunger strike one bit. I am also guessing that he has lost weight at this point. He is taking in about 15 oz of formula which is good to keep him hydrated but that is about it at this point.
