Looking for Ped or Ped GI in Washington State…

Hi!

I’ve looked through the post recommending doctors and didn’t see one for Washington State. I saw where a doctor was recommended in Spokane Wa on another link and I have been trying to get ahold of him but I keep getting the same phone number everywhere I look and it no longer works. Anyone have suggestions?

it’s a ‘band-aid’ solution to settle baby down. safe for newborns. this particular variety doesn’t have any aluminum.

you give in 1ml doses throughout the day/night as needed- up to 5ml (that’s 1tsp) over a 24hr period.

if you see loose stools, just back off.

used this stuff all.the.time. even on my non-reflux baby…

can NOT be given w/ PPI; needs to be spaced about 2hrs from it.

CAN be given w/ zantac and, in fact, sometimes helps the zantac go down.

Thank you Laura! Our ped won’t prescribe more than 15 mgs of Prevacid solutab, even after showing him the Marci Kids information. I just got cara cream max (day 4) and hoping things get better. The way I look at it, they can’t get worse!

hang in there. sometimes parents have to do what they know is best, even if that means researching and administering meds to their children w/o the help of their ped…I am not a medical professional, so I can’t tell you if it’s right or wrong to buy OTC meds and caracream, but I CAN tell you that there are many doctors who DO prescribe the marci-kids doses and that there are children who did fabulously w/ those doses. My son is 8 years old (!) and he’s FINE. HEALTHY. SMART. CUTE.
